Description
The Sacramento District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has an upcoming project for the construction of South Sacramento Streams Contract 1B2 located in South Sacramento County, CA. Work consists as follows: Construct channel improvements and flo odwalls along Unionhouse, Florin and Elder Creeks (approximately 1.4 miles of floodwalls and 0.5 miles of levees) immediately west of Franklin Boulevard to Morrison Creek in South Sacramento County. Project scope provides for, but is not limited to: chann el improvements including channel widening and deepening, installing a concrete lined low flow channel, constructing concrete floodwalls, concrete retaining walls, levees, stoplog structures, dewatering, demolition, earthwork, geotextile placement, access roads, stone protection, cast-in-drilled-hole concrete piles, cast-in-place structural concrete, fencing and seeding. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990, with a Small Business Size Standard of $31,000,000.00. This announcement serves only as a market survey/sources sought selection in order to determine the interest and availability of small business concerns. PROPOSALS ARE NOT BEING REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. Re sponses are being sought from qualified 8(a), HUBZone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns possessing the technical expertise and bonding capability to execute the work requirements. Interested contractors must submit the following i nformation as verifiable experience (1) Proof of available bonding capacity between $12,000,000.00 and $15,000,000.00. Documentation must be in the form of a statement from the Contractors bonding company; (2) Verifiable evidence of experience in perform ing this type of work; and (3) How you will manage work in accordance with FAR 52.219-14(b)(3), Limitation on Sub-Contracting: General Construction. The concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of mater ials.
