- Title of this project is Quarters Database Management Services for Region Six, USDA, Forest Service. The NAICS code is 518210, size standard is $23.0 million. This procurement is open to both small and large business concerns. Work consists of the maintenance of the Quarter Management Information System (QMIS) data base and hard copy quarter?s files for the Forest Service, Region Six, all of Washington and Orgeon. This data base is used to calculate and track the tenants and rental agreements for employees, volunteers, contractors and others that occupy government housing (quarters). The Region Six Quarters Database consists of quarters for National Forests; Forest Service operated Job Corps Centers and Forest Research Labs, in the states of Oregon and Washington, and four quarters in Alaska. There are currently 832 quarters units in the QMIS data base for Region Six. There are 591 single family homes, mobile homes or mobile home pads; 86 apartments, plexs, travel trailers or cabins; and 155 bunkhouse facilities. Possible tenants at any one time are 1892. This acquisition will result in a firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a base year and four option periods. This project will be advertised as a written request for proposal. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted on or about July 18, 2007. Proposals will be due on or about August 16, 2007. Interested sources are required to download a copy of the solicitation, attachments, and amendments. No paper copies of the solicitation, amendments, or other notices will be mailed. Sources are encouraged to electronically register on the bidder mailing list and to receive automatic notifications if changes are made to this notice.
