- The Social Security Administration intends to issue on a sole-source basis a firm fixed priced purchase order to renew an electronic subscription/membership entitled, Infrastructure Executive Council and acquire new membership/subscription entitled, Applications Executive Council through the Corporate Executive Board for a 14-month period beginning July 16, 2007 through September 30, 2008. Under FAR Part 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 will be used. Corporate Executive Board is recognized world-wide for providing best practices research studies; decision support tools; executive training; customized research briefs and web-based access to program content data based for Information Technology. This helps the agency achieve its strategic priorities by connecting the most senior executives with appropriate resources provided by Corporate Executive Board?s Executive Council. Corporate Executive Board is the only known source that can provide these services. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of the Government's intent to renew its subscription with the Corporate Executive Board. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this publication. If an acceptable response is not received within 5 business days of this announcement, an order will be issued to the Corporate Executive Board. Respondents should refer to 0951-07-1007CEB.
