- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools-Pacific/Department of Defense Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools-Guam (DoDDS-Pacific/DDESS-Guam) intends to issue on an Other than Full and Open Competition 100% Small Business HUBZone Set-Aside basis, a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to procure Special Needs Transportation Services in support of its Guam schools. The period of performance will be from 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008. Transportation services shall include an estimated 1,118 labor hours and an estimated two (2) buses with wheelchair lift capabilities. Specific details shall be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ) Number HE1260-07-T-1014. Award of the RFQ will be based on the lowest price quote for supplies/services that meet the government?s requirements listed in the RFQ. The RFQ will be issued and posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 23 July, 2007 to close 30 days after the RFQ issue date. Anticipated award date is 23 August 2007. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
