- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to procure Ambulance Services at The National Naval Medical Center (NNMC), Bethesda, Maryland. Ambulance services shall include care provided by the appropriate combination of certified/licensed Emergency Medical Technicians Basic (EMT-B), Cardiac Rescue Technician (CRT), CRT-Intermediate (CRT-I), EMT-Paramedics (EMT-P), and/or Critical Care Transport Nurses to meet patient transport category designated by the requesting facility. NNMC is requiring a minimum combination of at least two EMT-B, CRT, CRT-I, EMT-P and/or Critical Care Transport Nurses shall accompany each dispatch for CC, ALS, BLS and PT runs. The proposed procurement is being processed as a Small Business Set-Aside. The Period of Performance is from 01 October 2007 through 30 September 2008, plus four one year options ending 30 September 2012, if all options are exercised. Our intent is to issue a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13.5.
