Description
THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS ARE POSTED ON THE NAVFAC E-SOLICITATION WEBSITE: http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil Underground and above ground Tank Inspection, Repair and Certification pursuant to Florida Administrative Code (FAC) #62-762.701. Base year and 4 Option years. Each Installation shall provide evidence that an annual leak detection system inspection and certification has been performed on all regulated tank vessels. Concurrent with the aforementioned statute, #62-762.501 mandates any tank within Category C criteria must repair and maintain leak detection systems which may cause point source releases into the environment. Approximately 33 tanks, some are above ground, some below ground. The work includes all materials, labor, tools and supervision to perform leak detection inspections, leak detection replacements, and tests on the existing leak detectors. The work also requires the Contractor to perform yearly inspections of all registered aboveground and underground fuel tanks as required by Florida Administration Code (FAC) #62.761(640.3d.1b), #62-762.701 and #62-762.501. Contractor shall be licensed by State of Florida to perform maintenance work and inspections of fuel tanks. Contractor will be required to submit license with proposal. A site visit and conference is scheduled for Thursday, 12 July 2007, at 9:00 AM, at Naval Air Station, Key West, Florida.
