- Description
- The work includes replacing all water tubes in Boiler #2, including front, side, and back walls and generating bank. The work includes the replacement of all reefractory, gas baffles, and soot blower elements and bearings associated with tube replacement. Insulation (especially around drums) shall be replaced due to allow inspection of the drums. Casing replacement shall be made where required to perform the tube work. The work does not include any water wall header or drum replacement, manways, handholes, structural steel, external insulation (unless damaged by the Contractor or required to be removed for construction activities), or drum internals. The work also includes the retubing of the economizer for this boiler.
