- The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAVAIR WD), Point Mugu, CA., anticipates issuing a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to purchase 19 each command console keyboard display units with trackball, Z-Microsystems part number C0192-U1H-21-U09. These are required in order to operate the Marine Corps Technical Control and Analysis Center (TCAC) Remote Analysis Workstation (RAWS) The requirements for the Command Console unit are as follows: (1) 19" rack mountable in 24" deep rack and only 1RU (Rack Unit) or 1.75" high; (2) 19" Flat Panel LCD display; (3) ergonomic Keyboard and trackball with SUN mapped keys and USB interface compatible with SUN SUNFIRE V240 computer; (4) integrated palm rest; (5) meets safety criteria - no sharp edges or chassis/chassis slide protrusions that can injure personnel or snag sleeves or gloves worn by operator. Z Microsystems is the sole manufacturer of the Command Console 19S keyboard-display units that have been incorporated into the TCAC RAWS program. The additional units must be identical to existing units, and must be compatible with the existing TCAC RAWS mission software baseline. Use of an alternate unit would result in substational duplication of cost and unexceptable delay of work due to required integration of new hardware revision of technical data and documentation, retesting, and reaccreditation of the system. The government desires a standard commercial warranty for these parts. Delivery of all contract line item numbers (CLINs) will be FOB Destination to NAWCWD, Pt Mugu, CA., no later than 30 days after receipt of order. Respond by email to eva.woloszynski@navy.mil. The RFQ will be issued on or about 12 Jul 07 and will close on or about 31 July 07. Award will be made on or about 6 Aug 07. This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 12 and the test program for commercial items established in FAR 13.5.
