Description
Work consists of, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision, equipment, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work complete in place, as shown on the drawings, specified in the specification, or as needed to construct Airborne RED HORSE storage facility at Hurlburt Field. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the contract documents. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City, Florida and Pensacola. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236210 with a size standard of $31M; the SIC code is 1522. This contract will be a ?Price Performance Trade-Off? contract; award will be made based on the ?Best Value? to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. Performance period is 210 calendar days. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten days of contract award. The work is required in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 23 Jul 07. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. This solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov.
