- The Government (88 CONS/PKA) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii). The proposed source is: MTS SYSTEMS, Eden Prairie, MN. The item being procured is to BUILD/DELIVER MTS LOAD CONTROL SYSTEM UPGRADE (processor upgrade and software update on an existing Aero 90 LT Controller) (Quantity: (1 System) which includes the following: 1. Project Management, Engineering, and Services; 1.1. Project Coordination and System Engineering; 1.2. Documentation; 1.2.1. Operator?s Handbook (2 sets), Product Information Manual (2 sets), Hardware Setup and Maintenance Manual (2 sets), Assembly Drawings Reference (2 sets); 1.2.2. Vendor Supplied Manuals (1 set); 1.3. Warranty; 2. Aero-90LT System Hardware Upgrade; 2.1. System Processor Upgrade (1 lot); 2.2. Client PC; 3. Aero Pro Software; 3.1. MTS AeroPro Control Software (1 lot); 3.2. MTS Aero Pro Data Acquisition/Display Software (1 lot). This notice is being published for information purposes only, and is not a request for competitive quotations. However, any quotations received within five (5) business days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
