- Description
- The Government intends to procure commercial item services under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures for maintenance and repair of Government owned X-ray Processor Units. This is a full and open solicitation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17. The awarded contractor is required provide full service maintenance and repair of X-ray processors (various manufacturers), to include silver recovery and transporting/removing of the silver, for the participating VA facilities listed below. Offerors must submit a copy of their license to transport hazardous waste. Services are required for the following facilities; VA West Los Angeles, CA, and VA Long Beach, CA, Healthcare Systems. The contract shall be for a base year, with the Government's option to exercise two (2) one (1) year option periods. The solicitation will be available for issue on or about July 19, 2007, with offers due on or about August 9, 2007.
