- The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from sources capable of performing system engineering, design, development integration, test and evaluation of the FAROS with alternative airport surface technologies at diverse airport environments. Based upon the responses received, a Screening Information Request (SIR) may be submitted to industry for the purpose of selecting offerors who meet the qualifications stated herein. This market survey does not commit the FAA to any future acquisition activity. The FAA is not responsible and will not pay for costs associated with the preparation, submittals, inquiries or responses for this market survey. The costs associated with the market survey submission are solely at the interested offeror's expense.
