- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the Office Chief of Public Affairs, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) Only one responsible source and no other su pplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to PR Newswire, 529 14th Street, NW, Suite 1230, Washington, DC 20045 for prompt, simultaneous distribution of news releases, advisories, statements and other news documents issued by the U.S. Army Publi c Affairs via national news circuit. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of one (1) year (22 August 2007 to 21 August 2008). This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capabilities statement NLT Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 2:00 PM EST.
