- Description
- This is a notice issued to obtain commercial sources qualified and interested in providing a commercial item proposal prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.602 for portable radio upgrades for Ellsworth AFB, SD. The contractor should provide all personnel, equipment /facilities, tools, materials, supervision and other items/services necessary to provide an upgrade to a total of 164 XTS5000 portable radios for Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. The desired upgrade for each of the XTS5000 portable radios include any/all of the following services: Install Smartnet to Smartzone system software, Upgrade P25 9600-Baud Trunking software, Upgrade Digital ID Display software, Install Conventional to Smartzone system software, Update portable radios to the latest operating System Software/Firmware release (RSS), Perform any subscriber updates currently listed by Motorola under its Service Repair Notification (SRN) program, Re-align portable radios to manufacturer's specification, Labor to install all software upgrades, or equal products. The performance period is to be determined. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html to be eligible. A solicitation will be forth coming on or about 11 July 2007. All responsible sources may respond by e-mail to express interest.
