- COMMERCIAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT SERVICES (CFM). The U.S. General Services Administration is seeking input for market research on the procurement strategy for the Commercial Facilities Management Services contract to be competed for the John J. Moakley Federal Courthouse in Boston, MA. The General Services Administration invites interested parties to respond to the below questions in response to this special notice. The Government intends to procure CFM services to include facilities management, operations and maintenance of all building equipment and facilities including elevators, energy management, management of parking facilities and boat dock. The contract will include a one (1) year base period with eight (8) one (1) year options. Question 1 If the contract included a one year base and four one year options, would your firm submit a proposal? If no, explain why not? Question 2 If the contract included a one year base and eight one year options would your firm be interested in submitting a proposal? Question 3 Does increasing the length of the potential contract with additional one year options, increase the quality of services and reduce the price per month for these type of services? Question 4 Typically what is the length of commercial facilities management services not awarded under government contracts? The deadline for the receipt of submissions is July 12, 2007.
