- Description
- The ELCAS-M Pontoons repair process that is required has an extremely tight tolerance of plus/minus 1/32". Pontoons are required to mate end to end and side to side with it's associated connector castings. Replacement of castings requires extensive set up in the drill and pot jig and fixture. All components of the pontoon are load bearing members of the pier with the requirement to support the weight of Military Load Class (MLC) 60 wheeled vehicles, MLC 70 Tracked Vehicles, Rough Terrain Cargo Handler (RTCH) 175 Ton Lattice Boom Cranes and the discharge of cargo.
