- Description
- This solicitation is for tug services in the Ingleside, TX region, which shall normally be used to provide harbor support and ship handling services for hurricane preparation activities. The Government may award more than one BPA under this solicitation. The Government may place one or two tugs on standby when a storm is about 72 hours out. The Government may change the status of a tug(s) to on-hire any time it is in standby status. The contractor shall make tug(s) ready for on-hire within four hours of notification received from the Government. When a tug is activated thusly, it shall commence work as directed by the Government.
