- Description
- The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for providing all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to clean seven comfort stations, remove refuse from and sanitize trash receptacles (approximately 30), and pick u p loose litter in parking areas, recreation areas and roadways located on the Indian Bayou and Bayou Des Ourses areas in Southern Louisiana. The work area is at a remote site and there are no utilities available (water or electricity). Contractor will be required to furnish all materials including cleaning supplies, transportation and water in a suitable container to perform cleaning services. The exteriors of the comfort stations are to be cleaned and all litter removed at each servicing. All refuse is to be transported to a sanitary landfill, recycling center, or off-site dumpster. Contractor will maintain an adequate supply of toilet paper in each comfort station. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561790 an d the business size standard is $15.0 Million. Solicitation W912P8-07-T-0157 is being procured as a firm fixed price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base and four option years under FAR 12, Commercial Items. The RFQ and a ll information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fedbizopps.gov It is and will continue to be all potential offerors responsibil ity to monitor the fedbiz website for any amendments updates offerors library, responses to questions and answers as the government will not be maintaining a mailing list. It is incumbent upon all potential offerors to download from the fedbiz website. No phone call request will be accepted. The solicitation release date is 03 July 2007 with a d ue date of 13 July 2007. NOTE: Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) which is required by Federal Regulations (See FAR 52.204-7004). Therefore you must be CCR registered to be awarded this project and payment from any DOD activity.
