- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W31P4Q-07-Q-0017 is being issued as a request for quote. This requirement is for a one year subscription for electronic, online databases covering a wide range of fiel ds in the biological sciences, aquatic sciences, engineering and technology, market research and scientific conferences which allows access for an unlimited number of users. CLIN 0001 will be issued for a one year subscription for a database collection th at covers a wide range of fields in the biological sciences, aquatic sciences, engineering and technology, market research and scientific conferences which allows access for an unlimited number of users. Shipping costs for delivery shall be included in th e quote as FOB destination for Redstone Arsenal, AL. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency, if received by 16 July 2007, noon (CST). Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. The solicitation/ resulting contract include the followi ng provisions/clauses: Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contra ct Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition. Offer is due not later than 12:00 noon, (CST), 16 July 2007, in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B148, Redstone Ar senal, Alabama, 35898-5250. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Electronic quotes are preferred. Quotes may be submitted to: lisa.d.duncan @us.army.mil or via facsimile at 256-876-1631, marked to the attention of Lisa Duncan.
