- NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION IS INTENDED ONLY FOR LOCAL SOURCES IN ACCORDANCE WITH FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION 5.202(a)(12). LOCAL SOURCES ARE THOSE SOURCES NORMALLY RESIDENT, LICENSED AND REGISTERED TO CONDUCT CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS IN JAPAN. OFFERS FROM NON-LOCAL SOURCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNDER THIS SOLICITATION. This solicitation contains two projects: (1) Project No. A-07-127, Replace Insulation for Chilled/Hot Water Piping, Building 761 at Camp Zama, and (2) Project No. A-07-128, Replace Insulation for Chilled/Hot Water Piping, Building 763 at Camp Zama. These projects include (but not limited to) (1) replacement of existing chilled/hot water insulation with new ones, (2) replacement of acoustic tiles and gypsumboard ceiling with new ones, (3) installation of ceiling access panels, (4) removal and reinstallation of electircal fixtures, and (5) replacement of exit signs. Performance Bond (100% of total contract price) is required. Site orientation will be held at the performance site on 11 Jul 07, 1000 hrs. All offerors are encouraged to participate in the site orientation. If you are interested in participating in the site orientation, please contact the POC below by 9 Jul 07, 1630hrs.
