- The AMC Specialized Contracting Flight (AMC) anticipates issuance of a solicitation on a full and open competitive basis for the VC-25 (Boeing 747-200) Pilot and Flight Engineer Training. This requirement is for both initial academic and simulator training and refresher academic and simulator training. The required training services are for an estimated amount of two (2) initial and four (4) refresher courses per year with a total of four students per course. The resultant contract will be a requirements contract commencing on 1 Oct 2007 with four (4) one (1) year option periods. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Anticipated issuance date of solicitation is on or about July 11, 2007. The government intends to solicit this requirement on a full and open competitive basis using the (NAICS) code of 611512. The size standard is $23,500,000. The anticipated contract type will be a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. This solicitation will be issued electronically and will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities web site (www.fedbizopps.gov). Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Potential offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. No bidders mailing list will be maintained. Offers will be submitted on the Standard Form 1449 and must include as a minimum the items listed in FAR Clause 52.212-1 (b) (1-11) Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. This clause may be viewed at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. All Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database.
