- The 412 TW at the Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing and installing Knoll Dividends and Morrison Products (Furniture Systems) (hereafter referred to as Knoll Furniture) or equal to complete the 418th Flight Test Squadron consolidation and relocation effort within Building 1623. REQUIREMENTS: Currently the 412 Test Wing has existing Knoll furniture(listed below) and is seeking to purchase additional KNOLL Furniture or equal items. Installation is then required to set up break rooms and approximately 103 workstations on the first floor and 64 workstations on the second floor of Bldg 1623. Due to the size of the lists of both existing Knoll furniture and that to be acquired, the lists can be obtained by contacting Terence Vickers at terence.vickers@us.af.mil or call (661) 277-9659. Furniture requirements ? All furniture proposed must visually match in color to the existing Knoll furniture. It should be noted that the lines of KNOLL Furniture currently existing in Bldg 1623 are Reuter, Dividend, Chadwick, and Caliebre. The proposed furniture must be able to physically attach to, mechanically and/or electrically interface with the existing Knoll brand furniture presently located within Bldg 1623. Ship Date: 6 weeks ARO FOB: Destination to Edwards AFB CA 93524. Installation ? The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all operations to use existing, as well as provide, deliver, and install new Knoll/Morrison Systems Furniture within facility #1623 per sketches which can also be obtained from Terence Vickers at the above email address and/or phone number. The Contractor shall use as necessary, all existing Knoll/Morrison systems furniture presently located within the building. The Contractor shall complete the project in accordance with the drawings. Please note that this synopsis is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the Furniture Parts or equivalent, listed above. Firms responding to this notice must identify their company?s capabilities to provide the furniture and perform the requirements described herein, reference the solicitation number and indicate whether or not you are a small business concern as defined in FAR 52.219-1. The information received as a result of this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this sources sought synopsis, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this sources sought synopsis. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded in July 2007.
