- The Screening Partnership Program within the Transportation Security Administration intends to solicit proposals from its existing security screening contractors for a limited competition. The limited competition is for a new, short term, immediate requirement for security screening services for Gallup Municipal Airport, Gallup, New Mexico (NM), and possibly one additional NM airport. This urgent requirement requires the deployment of ATSA certified screeners within 10 business days of contract award at which time the resultant contractor will be required to assume Full Operating Capability (FOC). Should the requirement present itself as a long term opportunity, TSA intends to solicit the follow-on services utilizing a much broader market. This procurement will be conducted using the Transportation Security Administration Acquisition Management System (TSAAMS). Interested parties may learn more about the Acquisition Management System at http://fast.faa.gov. TSA is exempted from the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by the Aviation and Transportation Security Act (ATSA Public Law 107-71) and empowered to use TSAAMS by the same authority.
