- Request for Information: Relocate equipment, materials, supplies, radioactive materials, chemicals & staff. Battelle Memorial Institute (Battelle), as a prime contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy, in connection with Battelle's Operation and Maintenance of the U.S. Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory at Richland, Washington under Contract No. DE-AC05-76RL01830, is seeking qualified businesses to submit an Expression of Interest to conduct the relocation of equipment, materials and supplies, radioactive materials, chemicals and staff from currently occupied facilities in the 300 Area of the Hanford Site near Richland, Washington to newly constructed or renovated facilities a short distance away. The relocation will be phased, with a portion being completed first quarter of calendar year 2009 and the majority being completed in calendar year 2010. This is NOT a Request for Proposal. This is a request for information only. Interested firms shall submit packages via email in portable document format (*.PDF) to andrea.fernandez@pnl.gov or via fax at 509-371-7928 no later than 3:00pm (PDT) Friday, August 31, 2007.
