- This is a Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The project number is IQC07144009113 for NSN: 3110-00-684-1165, BEARING, BALL, ROD END. THIS IS A SOURCE CONTROL ITEM to ALLISON ENGINE CO INC CAGE 63005 drawing REV N. Approved sources: TORRINGTON CO and NHBB. Offer must be I/A/W DRAWING NR 1X4F3 AMSCBDOC. AWARD FROM THIS SOLICITATION CAN ONLY BE MADE FOR A DOMESTICALLY MANUFACTURED (U.S. OR CANADA)BEARING AND BEARING COMPONENTS (I.E., BEARING ELEMENT, RETAINER, INNER/OUTER RACE). SEE THE RESTRICTION ON ACQUISITION OF BALL AND ROLLER BEARINGS CLAUSE (DFARS 252.225.7016). WHEN ONLY FOREIGN BEARINGS ARE AVAILABLE, THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE CANCELLED AND RE-SOLICITED IF DOD WAIVES THE RESTRICTION UPON REQUEST BY THIS ACTIVITY. This is a CRITICAL APPLICATION ITEM. Total annual estimated quantity (AEQ) is 477 each. Solicitation will include a term of a base year plus four option years. FOB Point is Destination, Inspection & Acceptance at destination. Quantity variance is plus or minus 0%. Solicitation will be issued on a unrestricted basis, under full and open competition procedures. Surge requirements are applicable. The Government's required delivery schedule is 60 DARO. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Annual updates to your registration will be required.
