- DESC: This is an annual requirement for bulk fuels (AN8, MUM, and JP5) in the Antarctic region. These requirements may increase during the delivery period and be met by supplemental solicitations tied to SP0600-07-R-0095. Overseas Bulk Fuel Procurement of Turbine Fuel, Aviation (AN8) NSN: 9130-01-373-0208, specifications MIL-DTL-83133E, dated April 1, 1999, quantity 3,688,450 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1k; Turbine Fuel, Aviation, JP5, NSN: 9130-00-273-2379, specification MIL-DTL-5642U, dated January 5, 2004, quantity 2,282,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1k; Midgrade Gasoline, Unleaded (MUM) NSN: 9130-01-272-0983, specification ASTM-D-4814, quantity 500,000 U.S. Gallons for Purchase Program 1.1k. Delivery period for the above items is from December 1, 2007 through January 31, 2008, plus a 30-day carryover period. This solicitation will be available only on the world wide web http://www.desc.dla.mil on or about July 6, 2007. Please be advised that a hard copy of solicitation will not be available. If you intend to submit an offer, you are requested to return a completed and signed Offeror Submission Package to the DESC bid custodian before the closing date and time. The items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreement Act of 1979.
