- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific intends to procure Vernier LabPro Deluxe Packages and AP Lab Manuals using a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order on an other than full and open competition, brand name basis. The Vernier LabPro Deluze Packages consist of Biology (12 each); Physics (7 each); Chemistry (8 each); and Water Quality (5 each). The Vernier AP Lab Manuals consist of Environmental (5 each); Chemisty (8 each); and Biology (12 each). The Vernier products are the only types of probes that are compatible with the software and interface equipment currently being used in our Department of Defense Education Agency classrooms. Delivery will be required within 30 days from date of the Purchase Order. Award of the RFQ will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable offer. Specific details will be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ) Number HE1260-07-T-1013. The RFQ will be issued and posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about July 16, 2007 to close 30 days after the RFQ issue date. Anticipated award date is August 30, 2007. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
