- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a delivery order against Basic Ordering Agreement N00421-05-G-0001 to Northrop Grummand Systems Corporation (NGSC), Bethpage NY for two 15-ton Vapor Cycle kits and two Group 0 to Hawkeye 2000 Export Configuration Upgrade kits for the E-2C Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Japan program. This action will be negotiated on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NGSC possesses the knowledge, experience, technical data, and design drawings necessary to support this program and effort NGSC is the sole E-2C aircraft manufacturer and as such is the only firm with the requisite expertise necessary for this effort.
