- Description: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determin ation by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to con duct a competitive procurement. Firms intending to provide submittals must submit detailed information indicating their ability to meet the governments requirements. All inquiries must be received by 2 PM (1400) CST on 13 July 2007. This notice is to meet the requirement for the lease of 121,600 square feet of secured office space at the South Beach Pavilion at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX, for the Governments use. Space must have security and force protection and be in close proximity to the Un ited States Army South (USARSO) facility at Fort Sam Houston in order to facilitate operational and communication synergies and maintain mission readiness. This action is for a fully serviced ten-year lease term. A full-service lease is one which include s utilities, janitorial services, taxes, insurance and common area maintenance. To be eligible for award, a firm must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov.
