- Description
- Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Proving Ground, Directorate of Contracting, Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a six month contract extension with options for an additional six months in one-month incre ments with EC III LLC under contract DAAD01-99-C-0003 on a sole source basis. The contract provides for non-personal services to include operation, maintenance, support, analysis and other test related services in support of the USAYPG test mission. Speci fic areas of support include electronic instrumentation operations, optical and geodetic instrumentation operations, metrology and simulation operations, computation and automation operations, weapons and ammunitions operations, fleet and test vehicle main tenance, maintenance test data collection, range management operations, technical and engineering special services, range communications operations and information management operations. The contract extension will be for the period will be 01 October 200 7 through 30 March 2008 with six additional one-month options to potentially extend the contract through 30 September 2008. This extension is necessary to allow the government time to finalize its acquisition strategy and process the follow-on acquisition . THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
