- Draft Request for Proposals (RFP) for services to further the DOE-ORP mission to store, retrieve and treat Hanford tank waste, store and dispose of treated waste, and to close the Tank Farm waste management areas to protect the Columbia River. The U. S. Department of Energy, Office of River Protection (DOE-ORP) anticipates issuing a solicitation for work under a competitive, unrestricted, Cost Plus Award Fee contract. The Draft RFP comment period will be open through December 22, 2006. Please see the attached Notice to Prospective Offerors for detailed information. This announcement is for information exchange and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a request for a formal proposal. It does NOT constitute a Final RFP and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, and information is subject to change. Please refer to a Final RFP for actual terms, conditions, and instructions. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-NOV-2006).
