- Description
- The U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB), has a requirement for a Contractor to provide replacement of 5KV transmitter switchgear, associated battery racks, power monitoring system and replacement of light fixtures in the Power Distribution Room at the IBB transmitting station in Greenville, NC. The Contractor shall be responsible for performing all necessary work in seven (7) phases. Each phase shall be substantially completed before the Contractor can begin work in the next phase. The Contractor shall submit a schedule showing the sequence commencement and completion dates for all phases of the work. The contract term will be 275 days after date of award. The Solicitation is expected to be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on or about on April 20, 2007. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for information or inquiry. All requests and any questions regarding this Notice shall be submitted via email or facsimile to Ms. Myria E. Carpenter, Office of Contracts (M/CON/CR), mecarpen@ibb.gov or via fax to (202) 260-0855 by April 13, 2007. Telephone responses of a firm's statements of interest, capabilities, and pertinent experience will not be accepted by the BBG. This Public Notice is not a RFP, IFB, or RFQ. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (28-MAR-2007).
