Description
Request for Information Alcohol and Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau (TTB) Version3 Simple Sign-On TTB MISSION: Our mission is to collect alcohol, tobacco, firearms, and ammunition excise taxes; to ensure that these products are labeled, advertised, and marketed in accordance with the law; and to administer the laws and regulations in a manner that protects the consumer and the revenue, and promotes voluntary compliance. TTB BACKGROUND: On January 24, 2003, the Homeland Security Act of 2002 (the Act) established the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Bureau within the Department of the Treasury. The Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness (SEP) has a key role in the protection of the public relative to ensuring that each TTB employee has a favorably adjudicated investigation or background check. INFORMATION TTB DESIRES FROM VENDORS: TTB we would like information (no more than 10 pages) on Version3 Simple Sign-On or an equivalent software package that will perform with the same functionality. The following are the items of interest: ?Version3 Simple Sign-On Enterprise Edition (Gov) 700 Users ?Verison3 Simple Sign-On Yearly Subscription Service, which includes fixes, patches, minor upgrades and telephone support. OTHER INFORMATION: The information being requested is for planning purposes. The Government does not intend to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information requested. TTB will assess the ability of the market to meet the needs as stated above based on the information received. The vendor must identify their business size classification (i.e. SDVOSB, 8(a), Woman-Owned), as well as, provide any available contract vehicles, such as a GSA Schedule. Dependent upon the results of this market survey, TTB may subsequently issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to acquire software licenses and support services. Electronic submissions, in response to this request, shall be sent to the attention of Michelle Clegg and may be e-mailed to psb3@bpd.treas.gov. Electronic submissions must be received no later than 2:00PM ET, Tuesday, July 3, 2007. Please note that an RFQ document is not available at this time.
