- ********* This is a pre-solicitation notice only. All details will be in the solicitation that will be posted to the NECO Web site. *********** The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound has a requirement to procure protective fire fighting equipment in support of CNFJ Regional Fire Department, Japan. The Government?s required delivery date is 30 September 2007. Shipping will be FOB Origin. This requirement will be evaluated on a low price technically acceptable (LPTA) basis. The commercial solicitation, N00406-07-T-1403, will be issued on or about 04 July 2007 with a closing date of on or about 16 July 2007. Proposed contract to be procured as a firm fixed price requirement in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
