- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure one (1) Chloride EDP 70 plus Model 80-80 4X2 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with a type C battery cabinet containing pack 404 batteries. Chloride Power Protection Company is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the item. The UPS must be able to support dual inputs for Normal and Maintenance/Static Bypass. In addition, a Remote Power Panel (RFP-01-0-4-4-1-D2) rated for 225 Amps at 240 Volts with 2 (42) pole distribut ion panel boards manufactured by Power Distribution, Inc. will support UPS Power distribution. This requirement includes factory start up and one year parts and labor warranty. The vendor must be able to be on site within 4 hours after service call. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 811219, 500 employee size standard. This procurement will be issued on a firm fixed price basis. FOB destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis; quotes are being requested and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced, technically acceptable vendor. The closing date to submit quote is 2:00 PM EST 6 July 2007. Firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please not that defense payment offices may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT). EFT payments are based on the contractor?s EFT information contained in the CCR database.
