- THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD A FIRM-FIXED PRICE CONTRACT UNDER SOLICITATION/REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL N69450-07-Q-0101, GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR MARINE CORPS RESERVE CENTER, FOLSOM, PA. THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED UNRESTRICTED. The NAICS Code for the proposed acquisition is 561730, and the small business size standard is $6.5 Mill. The Federal Supply Code is S208 Landscaping-groundskeeping. The services includes the Contractor furnishing all labor, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies and supervision necessary to perform grass cutting with trimming, edging, pruning, fertilization with weed control at the United States Marine Corp, 6th and Kedron Avenue, Folsom PA 19033. This contract will include a base year and four one-year options. There will be no future synopsis in the event the options included in the contract are exercised. No new work can be issued after one year following award of initial contract unless option year is exercised. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database with a DUNS number in order to participate in this procurement. For instructions on registering with the CCR, please visit the website for CCR at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government intends to issue the solicitation and amendments for this Solicitation/Request for Quotes (RFQ), electronically by posting it on the NAVFAC Website, http://esol.navfac.navy.mil only. Offerors must register on the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Proposals will be due by July 10, 2007 at 10:00 am (EDT). Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. The government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any proposal.
