Description

The US Geological Survey intends to award a noncompetitive contract to Natureserve for technical support to improve delivery and access to information on species and ecosystems needed by DOI bureaus in the fulfillment of their missions. Natureserve owns a unique set of databases on threatened and endangered species that contain cumulative data dating back decades, collected from numerous sources. The Natureserve databases cannot be duplicated and are not open to the public or to vendors due to the sensitive nature of the information. Questions may be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer by e-mail (lmccarthy@usgs.gov). Request for Proposal (RFP) 07HQSS0025 will be made available to Natureserve on or about July 16, 2007. The NAICS code is 541519. The anticipated period of performance is 12 months from date of award. Numbered note 22 applies.
