- Description
- The Government requires the services of a Clerical Assistant at the Presidio of Monterey Transportation Office for a base period of 8 months and two option periods (8 months and 4 months, respectively). The Transportation Office assists service memb ers and their families in arranging and coordinating household goods moves. The anticipated contract start date is 27 July 2007. The position is full-time Monday through Friday (except federal holidays) from 0745-1145/1245-1645, with lunch from 1145-1245 . To qualify, the Contractor is required to possess at least a high school diploma, at least one year of clerical experience performing similar duties, proficiency and experience in operating general office equipment (e.g. typewriter, copier, printer, and computer), and be able to type at least 45 Words Per Minute. The contractor, if selected, shall also be required to be subjected to a federal background investigation before accessing any Government systems. Please note: These requirements apply to the individual who will actually be performing the work. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 561110 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted to the Fedbizopps website (www.fedbizopps.gov) no later than 02 July 2007 and will close on 09 July 2007.
