- RFQ: AG-5F48-S-07-0008 Heavy Construction - Wetland Restoration Projects (3) Three Sites Green Lake County, Wisconsin SITE #1 - FERG/TOBIN WETLAND RESTORATION WRP CONTRACT #66-5F48-4-045 LOCATION: GREEN LAKE COUNTY, ST. MARIE & BROOKLYN TOWNSHIPS, T 16N, R 13E, SECT. 6; SUMMARY Construct two ditch plugs and five ditch fills, excavate four scrapes, seed 8 acres of disturbed areas and 3 acre field, remove cedar trees, and push in old spoil banks as shown on the plans and specifications for the purpose of restoring habitat of the Wetland Restoration Program site in Green Lake County. The work will involve approximately 4740 cuyds fill, seed 11 acres, remove 50 trees. SEEDING: Cannot occur prior to October 22, 2007 ? but must be done prior to snow cover. ______________________________________________________________________ SITE #2 - PINCH WETLAND RESTORATION WRP CONTRACT #66-5F48-3-056 LOCATION: GREEN LAKE COUNTY, ST. MARIE, T 16N, R 12E, SECTION 1; SUMMARY Excavate five scrapes and fill 3 ditches, seed 4 acres of disturbed areas as shown on the plans and specifications for the purpose of restoring habitat of the Wetland Restoration Program site in Green Lake County. The work will involve approximately 6180 cuyds fill, seed 4 acres. SEEDING: Must be completed by August 29, 2007. ______________________________________________________________________ SITE #3 - NAPARALLA WETLAND RESTORATION WRP CONTRACT #66-5F48-3-259 LOCATION: GREEN LAKE COUNTY, ST. MARIE, T 17N, R 11E, SECTION 35; SUMMARY Construct two ditch plugs, two embankments, disable 700 feet of tile, excavate 3 scrapes, and seed 4 acres of disturbed areas as shown on the plans and specifications for the purpose of restoring habitat of the Wetland Restoration Program site in Green Lake County. The work will involve approximately 6850 cuyds fill, seed 4 acres. GENERAL PROJECT NOTES: These are federal construction projects, Davis-Bacon Wage Rates will apply to work under any resultant contract. These projects may be completed in any order ? however, NRCS must approve schedules and give official Notice to Proceed prior to start of work at each site. Performance time for all three projects, including mobilization and 4 days for inclement weather is 24 calendar days assuming 10 hr work days, 5 day work weeks, and 3 pieces of heavy equipment. Earthwork shall be completed by Oct 26, 2007 and all work, including seeding, must be completed no later than October 31, 2007. Range of Construction: $40,000 to $65,000 (Total for all three Projects/Sites) Complete plans and specs will be posted with full solicitation.
