- This construction project shall consist of the removal and disposal of the existing timber bridges, stone rubble abutments, and approach fills; clearing; cofferdam construction; structure excavation and backfill; furnishing and installing treated timber abutments; designing, furnishing, and installing precast/prestressed concrete voided slab superstructures (bridges); furnishing and placing riprap; providing the associated soil erosion and pollution control; embankment and roadway construction; borrow excavation; aggregate surfacing; bituminous wearing surface; waste material disposal; traffic control; and revegetation. The project is located in Township 38 S, Range 18 W, Section 26, southwest of the community of Enterprise, Utah. To access the site from Enterprise, drive west on state route 120 for approximately 9.9 miles, then turn south on the Veyo-Shole Creek road and follow the road for approximately 9.9 miles. Site visit is scheduled for August 1, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. Interested bidders will meet at the bridge site. This solicitation is full and open competition with the project government estimate of $100,000 to $250,000. This solicitation will be uploaded to this same website on approximately July 16, 2007 and proposals are due on August 15, 2007 @ 4:30 p.m.
