- Project Title: McClure Creek Fish Barrier The work will consist of constructing a concrete fish barrier located on the Hebgen Lake Ranger District, Gallatin National Forest, Gallatin County, approximately 20 miles northwest of West Yellowstone, MT. The work includes but is not limited to clearing and grubbing work areas, salvage and stockpile all topsoil, construct temporary access road, develop an Erosion Control Plan, furnish and install erosion prevention, divert stream flow, provide survey and staking for barrier location, excavate/backfill for barrier construction, install fill material as directed by the engineer, furnish and install concrete structure and riprap. After construction, recontour and restore the access road and restore all surfaces disturbed by construction activities. There will be a pre-bid tour of the site on Tuesday August 7, 2007. The tour will depart from the Hebgen Lake Ranger Station parking lot (located on Hwy 191 immediately north of the town of West Yellowstone, MT) at 11 AM. Interested parties should contact Dale White, telephone (406) 587-6752 in advance. It is recommended that interested parties attend the pre-bid site tour. Government estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is set-aside for small business. Estimated start work date is September 15, 2007. The solicitation packet will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about July 27, 2007.
