- THIS SYNOPSIS IS BEING AMENDED. THE SYNOPSIS IS CHANGED TO REFLECT THAT THE SOLICITATION NUMBER WILL BE FA8104-07-Q-0330. A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for NSN 2915-01-471-3479NZ P/N: 4085198, Spray Ring Assembly, Location Tinker AFB, Item 0001 The solicitation will be for 7 each, Size: diameter approx .25 circular tube with a radius of 15.717?. Function: augments the Furl System Manifold. Material: nickel alloy. Applicable to: F100/229 Engine. Destn: FMS requirement : 7 EA May 2007. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 11 Jan 07 . The anticipated award date will be 1 March, 2007. Qualification information can be obtained from OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive Suite 1AG85A, Tinker AFB OK 73145-3009 (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Woodward FST, Wood Fuel Group, and United Technologies. Responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Potential offerors can obtain a copy of the solicitation from this FEDBIZOPS web site as soon as the Government has issued and posted the solicitation. To obtain required technical data, potential offerors must use TEDS at https://fedteds.gov/. Please note that the Government is not required to delay contract award in order to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. All proposals must be received no later than 4:00 PM Central Time on 1 Feb 2007. The award date is estimated to be on or about 1 Mar 2007. See Government-Wide Numbered Notes 8, 23 and 26. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
