- Competitive purchase using simplified acquisition procedures for the following items: 4 EA - EXFO FOT-932-12C-VFT-FP5-WC2 MaxTester This requirement is a brand name or equal requirement. Salient characteristics of this item include conducting two-way measurements over a single fiber, supporting both single mode and multimode 850, 1300, and 1550 nm wavelengths (source and receiver), can conduct optical return loss (ORL) measurements, and has video fiber end inspectioncapability, a digital talk set, a visual fault locator, a power meter, and a fiber length tester. This unit must be portable and have built-in memory capable of storing at least 1000 complete test reports, as well as software to import and analyze test data on a PC. This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement. Applicable NAICS code is 334515 and the size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. Estimated issue date of this Solicitation, # FA3010-07-T-0036, is 31 May 2007.
