- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport intends to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR part 12 and 13 procedures (commercial items, simplified acquisition procedures), with the solicitation being issued in less than 15 days per FAR 5.203(a) and (h). Procurement is for (14 ea) Strength Sock, 170 feet, (14 ea) Cord Harness, 170 feet and (11ea) Cord Weave, 110 feet, in accordance with Government drawings. The drawings will not be posted on our website due to the restricted distribution statements. In order to receive a copy of the drawings, your company must be certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP). Send an e-mail request for the drawings to Michael Broomfield at broomfieldmh@npt.nuwc.navy.mil citing RFQ N66604-07-Q-4101 with your company name, address, JCP and cage code number, telephone number and point of contact. CD-ROMs will be sent once JCP registration is confirmed. Solicitation is 100% small business Set-Aside and unclassified. Expected delivery date is 45 days after contract award. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination, Ship to: Newport, RI 02841. Anticipated RFQ release date is 5 July 2007.
