- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronics Program Office (PMA 209) intends to place a task order under the Raytheon Corporate BOA with NAVAIR (N00019-05-G-0008). Raytheon Technical Services Company shall provide engineering support services necessary to demonstrate that a modified CV2230B Weapons Replacable Assembly (WRA) passes all of the tests that an unmodified CV2230B WRA passes. This effort is Phase II of a three phase reliability improvement effort approved by the Aircraft Equipment Reliability Maintainability Improvement Program (AERMIP) Board. The CV2230 is an out-of-production WRA and Raytheon is the only fully capable Depot Repair Activity identified for the unit. Phase II requirements include conducting a modified design review, manufacturing the modified units which are to be Form-Fit-Functional/two-way interchangeable with unmodified units and demonstrating that the modified units meet operational requirements.
