- A MARKET SURVEY is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. If your firm is a certified HUBZONE, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, or any other type of Small Business and you are interested in this project please respond to this survey appropriately. The Gainesville USARC ADD/ALT RFP is for the design and construction of a Full Facility Restoration project. The building to be renovated is a 25,000 SF 2-story facility. The project will also include the construction of a new 2,200 SF unheated storage building, 3500 SY of paving and associated utility construction. This project is planned for advertisement in July 30, 2007 with a planned award schedule d in September 2007. Contract duration is estimated at 720 days. NAICS is 236220. The estimated cost range is between $1-5 million. Project will be awarded as a design build contract using a single phase source selection evalution process. All interest ed small business should notify this office in an email to gene.p.davis@lrl02.usace.army.mil by the close of business 12 July 2007. Responses should include: 1. Identification and verification of company's small business status 2. Past Experience describi ng completed projects that are similar in size, scope to the proposed project 3. Capability of obtaining performance and payment bonds for a project in dollar amount listed above. NOTE: If it is determined there are not enough interested small business concerns this project will be advertised for full and open competition.
