- Work consists of providing all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to purchase the following items: Sixty (60) metal 8 ft x 8 ft x 20 ft and five (5) metal 8 ft x 8 ft x 40 ft Sealand Containers. Containers must be sound on all sides, tops and floors meaning free from holes, heavy rust or damage. All containers must be empty, structurally sound and able to support like containers stacked on top. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the Dare County Bomb Range located at Stumpty Point, N.C. This will be a Firm-Fixed-Price Procurement and will be procured using commercial procedures. Solicitation Number is FA4809-07-Q-0184. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 332439 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 28 Jun 07 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
