- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to extend contract DTFAWA-04-D-00005 with Eyak Technology LLC of Reston, VA, which provides support via a Service Licensing Agreement for Enhanced Status Information System (ESIS) projectors at FAA facilities nationwide. The FAA is currently in the process of completing a competitive acquisition for the follow-on contract, with an anticipated award date of August 31, 2007. The follow-on contract will employ new technology and will require infrastructure changes at FAA facilities. Extension of the current contract is required in order to accomplish transition to the new technology and infrastructure. The current contract will be extended from July 31, 2007 to December 31, 2007. Accordingly, the overall contract ceiling will increase by $274,000.
