- This agreement is for fire investigation and report writing services, as needed, on interagency incidents within the geographic boundaries of the state of California. The Contractor shall furnish all trained personnel, equipment, supplies (except Government-Furnished Property/Services), transportation and incidentals necessary to meet specifications as outlined in this agreement. Services include, but are not limited to: (1) Wildland Fire Origin and Cause Investigation, Report Writing (2) or other tasks as related to the wildland cause and origin investigation Normal period of assignment may last from a few days to several weeks. No minimum or maximum period of assignments are guaranteed. However, once on an assignment, contract personnel are guaranteed 8 hours per day, per employee, except for the first and last days of the assignment in which the contractor will be paid for actual hours worked. It is common for daily shifts to average 12-15 hours per shift. The intent is to award multiple contracts, distributing sufficient contract personnel throughout the contract geographic area to meet the needs of USDA Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations.
