Description
*Pre-Solicitation Notice Synopsis* This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Cameron Technologies US, Inc. DBA: Caldon Ultrasonics Technology Center, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This Statement of Work identifies the requirements for providing services to the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC), Energy and Utilities Department to support recalibration and operation of the LineWatch 2000DLS located on Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island, Washington. The LineWatch 2000DLS is dedicated static and dynamic leak detection/location system that was constructed, installed and operated by Cameron. The NFESC is requesting site work including the recalibration of the system sensors and performing 8-hour static and dynamic leak tests on the 4-inch and 8-inch cross-island jet-fuel lines. These tests must satisfy the testing requirements of 33 CFR 156 and the Washington Administrative Code (WAC). The contractor shall provide support to the NFESC including procurement and transportation of materials, equipment, testing and providing competent personnel to perform required tasks. Any waste materials generated by project must be removed from island and disposed of properly. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 334519 and the annual size standard is 500 Employees. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, inquires received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
